Mission Mine Joshua Tree April 2009 The Mission Mine is a gold mine with five levels. The bottom is about 650 feet deep (over 50 stories!). We explored the entire mine over an eight hour period. There are ladders connecting all the levels but ropes are recommended for safety. |
